1. Client Challenge

Envocore began work on the Consortium project in June of 2015. The project consisted of three suburban boroughs around the general area of Chicago that wanted to upgrade 47,059 underperforming meters, recapture unrecorded usage, and improve customer satisfaction.

2. Metering Solution

To complete the project with maximum efficiency, Envocore partnered with an Energy Savings Company (ESCO). The work included the optimization of water management used for utility metering and plumbing.

3. Results

The project was completed in August of 2016 with the replacement of 47,059 Sensus iPerl and OMNI water meters ranging in size from 5/8” to 6” diameter. Envocore also completed work on running new ground wire and plumbing repairs to ensure optimal performance. This project was done on time and within budget.
