Water Conservation Case Study: City of Houston – ESPC Water Conservation Scope (3 Phases) – Houston, TX
Overview:
Water Savers, LLC worked with an ESCO on this project which includes the optimization of water used for landscape irrigation and plumbing spread across the City of Houston Parks & Recreation department.
Brief Project Summary:
The project was completed December 5th, 2011 with the replacement of 44 controllers managing over 700 stations/zones and the replacement of over 5,000 sprinkler heads. This project also includes the installation of a weather station, solar powered controllers and multiple system remote controllers and web access based on user classification.
We also completed work on the restrooms and included a rain water harvesting design to be constructed in the future.
Upon completion of project implementation, Water Savers’ representatives will conduct post-retrofit measurement and verification of all installed equipment to verify performance specifications and aid in commissioning all newly installed equipment.
