Case Study: Houston VA Regional Office Avoids Full Window Replacement

At the Houston VA Regional Office, severe condensation on single-pane windows was creating a persistent facility problem. Each morning, the temperature differential created as the building cooled, combined with Houston’s humidity, caused exterior condensation that could obstruct occupants’ views.

The facility had been considering full window replacement. Envocore evaluated an alternative approach and proposed a supplemental window system that added panes to create triple-pane assemblies, along with exterior cleaning, wet sealing, and solar shades.
